2. Entrance qualification
(1) Age
Applicants must be over 18 years of age and must have completed at least 12 years of education (the equivalent of Japanese primary and secondary education) abroad.
(2) Japanese language ability
- 2 years course
Applicants must have passed one of the examinations stated JLPT N5 Level, J-TEST Level F or certificate from a Japanese language school (150 hours of study or more). - 1 year 6 months course
Applicants who have Japanese Language Proficiency Test Certificate of 4th grade and/or certificate from a Japanese language school (150 hours of study or more).
(3) Academic Background
After graduating from Asahi Japanese language school, if applicants go on to university or college, applicants who has completed or is scheduled to complete a 12-year school education outside of Japan.
After graduating from Asahi Japanese language school, if applicants go on to graduate schools, Applicants who have completed at least 16 years of school curriculum for graduate schools.
(4) Sponcer
Applicants must be able to pay tuition fees and living costs during their stay in Japan.
(5) Other
Applicants must be physically and mentally sound, and ready to comply with Japanese laws.
